One day, while wandering through the woods, Jamie discovers a massive pit filled with strange, hungry creatures. What begins as feeding them scraps soon turns darker, as Teddy urges him to lure the people who’ve wronged him to the hole.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-rte-preserve-empty=\"true\" class=\"preFade fadeIn\"\u003eDirected by Lew Lehman, The Pit received a lukewarm response upon release but has since built a cult following thanks to its bizarre premise and committed performances. Victor Davies’ score is full orchestral yet surprisingly stripped down. It carries an old-school, classic quality that could easily sit alongside a Universal Monster movie.
